September, 2010 - Horizons
In September 2010 at the New York University chapel in New York City, Horizons 2010 convened a large group of contributors to provide a snapshot of the state-of-the-science/art regarding developments in the psychedelic field. Neal Goldsmith generously invited me to participate, and I presented a preview of my current book project. In this book—tentatively entitled “The Soul of Prophecy”—I discuss the relevance of the Old Testament notion of a prophetic state of consciousness to the contemporary Western psychedelic drug experience.
September, 2010 - CoSM
The weekend of the Horizons 2010 conference in New York City in September, 2010 Alex and Allyson Grey hosted the East Coast premiere of the DMT documentary at their Chapel of Sacred Mirrors in upstate New York. Mitch Schultz, the film’s producer, and I spoke before the showing, and we and the Greys sat on a panel after the screening.
